[ A big thank you to participants in the Thanksgiving survey last week. When asked to rate this holiday as a “Groan” or a “Yay,” a full two-thirds found it a happy occasion, as did I. My first turkey ever wasn’t terribly pretty, thanks for asking, but with all that submersion in buttermilk, spices, herbs, citrus, and kosher salt, it was tender! And the wonderful friends and family who participated in the evening were kindly complimentary. I hope your Thanksgiving left you just as grateful as I am for family, friends, community.]
